Yeah, I just wrapped up my order from CTD with one of those pretty Summa’s for the heck of it. Looking forward to EDCing it.

  2. airrune31 says:

you can get the summa from cheaper than dirt for $35

  3. fidgetingfinch says:

Haha, true. And I know that if my knife shop has it, they will charge $70 for it. But I want one now anyway. :)

  4. RetiredBigAl says:

Jeff, love your reviews even if you are costing me $. I too have the summa and just purchsed the Tution yesterday. Thought you and all would like to know that Gerry (pronouced JERRY) is working on a new knife. Found this out from my knife store located near another major designer for CRKT. Will be another addition when it does come out. No Date known….

  11. xxjdubb93xx says:

Quote: “dont really think thats the point” -dtester Heh I get it. Point. Hehe

  15. chrisfrankey says:

TexasBushcraft, Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?

  16. dtester says:

don’t really think that’s the point, a knife is a lot more useful as a tool than a gun is. And if we are talking self defense, I rather have a knife then nothing at all (assuming I don’t have a gun). Also, many “bad guys” aren’t very well trained with a gun and in extreme close quarter range…assuming the person is decent with using the knife, they can actually have the advantage.

  17. cutlerylover says:

I think they are a good additon to any knife you plan on using hard, as for weight nutnfancy has a military mindset as he is a military person…the difference between 2 ounces and 5 doesnt matter to the average person just carrying a pocket knife, to a soldier its critical…

  18. john1112112 says:

what’s ur opinion on steel liners? nutnfancy thinks that most just add weight to the design, and aren’t needed to support the handle, it seems to me that the liners would help stop the handle from bending or snapping

  19. cutlerylover says:

thats why I bring a gun with me everywhere, hehe

  20. BIGDlca says:

so what happens when u bring a knife to a gun fight ur fucked

  21. mikey4u1984 says:

I think this is a great post. One thing that I find the most helpful is number five. Sometimes when I write, I just let the flow of the words and information come out so much that I loose the purpose. It’s only after editing when I realize what I’ve done. There’s defiantly a lot of great tips here I’m going to try to be more aware of.

  27. Thanks for the blog loaded with so many information. Stopping by your blog helped me to get what I was looking for.| bed frames cheap
